Our Wedding

We met in our early thirties at a work Christmas party, but funnily enough, Claire was someone I tried to avoid... at first. Not for any good reason, just one of those irrational gut feelings you get when someone seems like they might get you into a bit of trouble. Turns out, I was right....But in the best possible way. That night, the drinks were flowing, the music was loud, and somehow we ended up in each other's arms. Claire invited me over after the party and I went along, figuring the night was already unpredictable. When we got to her place, she told me to wait in her room—then came back wearing a festive costume that I’m pretty sure wasn’t company issued. 13 years later and we’ve traded late nights for early mornings, and wild parties for playdates—with our son Ethan, leading the way. It wasn’t your typical love story beginning, but it turns out the best ones never are.

Kim has always been my rock and partner in crime. She’s a proud mom of four, married to an amazing guy, and the fun, loving, responsible aunty to my son. I’m so lucky to call her my sister.

My big brother Dylan (Varo), one of the bravest people I know, has always been there for me. From working on his car to teaching me how to study, fight, and stand strong, he shaped who I am. His teasing is something I’ve passed on to my son Ethan. I’m proud to have him by my side on this special day.

Aaron is a kind and gentle brother with a big place in our hearts. Our son Ethan adores him, and he will always be his favourite uncle in the UK.

Our beautiful niece and bridesmaid, Sydney, has brought joy and laughter into our lives from the start. She's kind, fun, and absolutely smitten with our son Ethan—showering him with love and attention every chance she gets. We’re so lucky to have her by our side on our big day!

Ashton is my brother from another mother, my ride-or-die biker brother, and one of the most loyal friends I could ever ask for. We’ve shared countless memories and stood by each other through so much over the years. Having known him for most of my life, I’m beyond grateful for our bond and honoured to have him by my side on this special day.

Our lovely niece Maddison is the quiet, gentle soul of the bunch. Though soft-spoken, her warmth shines through—especially when she's around our son Ethan, who she adores just as much as he adores her. Her kind heart and calm presence mean so much to us, and we’re so happy to have her by our side on our special day.

Our greatest blessing from God, Ethan brings endless joy, love, and laughter into our lives. His bright smile, curious spirit, and sweet heart light up every room. Being your Mummy and Daddy is our greatest honour, and we love him more than words could ever express. He is the heart of our family!

Elsie has been a special part of our lives since she and Ethan were 8 months old. She is a sweet, kind and funny girl with the confidence that you wish you had as an adult. We are so happy she will be by our side on our special day.
